摆渡修行
A Penang restaurant. It seems that no matter what time you go, there are always people queuing at the door, but you can usually get the food after waiting for 10-15 minutes. We tried braised pork, curry fish head, sesame oil chicken, rice noodles, red bean paste, etc. This time, each one is delicious. I personally think that the rice noodles are the most surprising. I feel that the most basic dishes are made quite well. I used to have a very greasy feeling when eating rice noodles, but this restaurant controls it very well. It is not overly greasy, but the taste is very sufficient. The rice noodles are very soft and sticky, and the taste is very good. The curry fish head tastes great too, and it belongs to the Must Try series of this restaurant. The fish head is very fresh, and it is super delicious with the curry flavor. In addition to the fish head, I think the cowpea vegetables in it are also super delicious! The only drawback is that the plate is very large, and there is not much fish head meat? Hahaha next time when there are many people, I think I can even go with two portions.

This shop opened at around noon, but it sells "breakfast" toast, half-boiled eggs and hand-brewed drinks. I ordered the most familiar flavor, toast with half-boiled eggs and a cup of coffee. The bread was baked golden and crispy, and paired with the half-boiled egg, it was very tasty! Unfortunately, I was too full to try its famous "Yuanyang" bread (margarine + kaya), especially its traditional homemade kaya. I'll come back next time to check in! The nearby Malay economic rice stalls have a strong rural flavor in terms of dishes and aroma, and are still frequented by many Chinese diners. After you are full, you might as well walk into the alley, cross a row of old houses in the fishing village, and come to the Haizhu Island Dabogong Temple, which has a long history of more than 150 years. You can pray, take photos, check in, and enjoy the sea breeze.

The food was traditional and delicious. The Stroganoff was good, apricots stuffed into a whole chicken, the portion was large and filling. Served cold Russian beer, the prices were good. The staff didn't mind splitting the bill into several portions if you were in a larger group, they didn't make a fuss. Recommended.

A local old teahouse with many varieties of food, including boxed lunches and many fried foods, such as shrimp cakes and crab cakes, all of which are delicious. My favorite is the laksa, which is very authentic and super cheap.

约六年前来过,这次再来看看。新金山还是相当热闹,里头很多槟城小吃档。点了餐咖哩鸡肉配面包,马币8元。口味不错,够香但不辣。
